If you’ve already got a PDF but it’s not accessible, remediation is the process of fixing it so assistive technology can interpret it correctly. This means all users, including people with disability or who are neurodivergent, can navigate, understand, and use your content with ease.

Accessibility in PDFs comes down to the tags tree. The behind-the-scenes structure that tells a screen reader what’s there and in what order. If it’s not correct, users can miss vital information or experience it in the wrong order.
